11/14 Think We not Me Community Food Growing Program Update

Think We, not Me Community Food Growing Program of Centre County completed our last harvest of fruits and vegetables this past week….. all earmarked for the Centre County Food Banks, Community Kitchens, and others serving the Food Insecure…. and We exceeded our season goal of 30,000 lbs…..!

TWnM THANKS go to all our Think We, not Me Volunteers this 2021 Season, including our Growers, Distributors, those who helped in Administration and Delivery, and to all who tirelessly worked our Field Prep, Planting, and Harvesting.  

AND we added 4 Orchards to our Grower list this season yielding for the first time: apples, plums, pears, peaches, and blueberries!

For our last two Harvests at Drake Orchard in Everett/Bedford, PA, 11/6 and 11/8,

Our Apple donations benefited the clients of the Centre County YMCA, State College Food Bank, Faith Center Food Bank in Bellefonte, Bellefonte Youth Center, Easter Seals, Nittany Residents
